Coffee morning raises a grand amount for charity

A coffee morning in memory of the late Eric Loveridge helped raised more than £1,000 for Sepsis Trust UK.

The charity event was organised by Eric’s widow Marlene and daughters Diane and Elaine.

Diane and Ian Tilley chose Sepsis as this year’s recipent due to their youngest daughter being unwell with the illness, said Ian.

Family and friends presented a cheque for £1,016.58 to Dr Flint at Monro Medical Centre, Spalding.

Ian said the family would like to thank all who donated, contributed or helped at Diane and Ian’s bungalow during the event.

The coffee morning helped to raise £676.58 on the day and Eric’s daughter Elaine Ladds raised £340 during her craft days through the year.
