Don’t miss the chance to see some top indoor bowls in Spalding this weekend

Spalding Indoor Bowls Club hosts its annual under-25 open on Sunday – with some of the best young bowlers in the country in action at the Castle Sports Complex.

The tournament, again being generously sponsored by Hughes Electrical, is played to a quick-fire Premier Threes format. Each match is best of three sets, with each set being just three ends.

Spalding players will be well represented, including England under-25 international and current champion Jordan Philpott.

Ruby Hill, who recently became the under-18 national singles champion and is the first player to be an under-18, under-25 and senior international at the same time, is also in action.

Other players hoping for glory are Acle’s Dan Seabourne, who is an under-25 international, and Glenn Williams, from Riverain, who recently won the national triples title.

With play continuous throughout the day and free entry, fans are encouraged to attend.
