Jack Wycherley (26) was The Rotary Club of South Holland candidate and went to a members’ meeting on Tuesday (January 10) to be presented with the award and talk about his experiences at Grafham Water, near Huntingdon, last July.

He spoke about the friends he had made, the outward bound and team exercises he took part in and how he felt it would support him in his work at The Priory School in Spalding.

Jack is currently studying to further his career and become a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. His goal is to become a teacher and he felt the RYLA experience would give him insight into making him a more effective leader.

“The Rotary Club of South Holland would like to wish Jack good luck in his future career,” said a spokesman.
