Fundraising by chartered accountant this year adds up to £4,500

Chartered accountant Bulley Davey has presented £3,600 to its chosen charities, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire and Magpas air ambulance services, so far this year.

The money was raised through events including a carol concert, the Great Eastern Run, coffee mornings, dress-down days and egg sales from home-reared chickens.

Andy Atkins and Julie Matthewson, directors at Bulley Davey’s Spalding and Holbeach offices respectively, visited the air ambulance service to present the funds.

Mr Atkins said: “At Bulley Davey we are always looking at ways to give back and our chosen charity, the air ambulance service, is a prime example of the kind of service that so often goes unnoticed, or unthought of, but is always there and ready when the time comes.
“We want to thank all those who took part in any of our fundraising events for helping raise such a great sum.”

Bulley Davey also raised over £500 for the NSPCC through the Peterborough Business Support Group’s Rutland Water cycle challenge.

The business has raised a total of £4,500 for good causes this year.
