Pupils ‘Clean for Queen’

Pupils at a Spalding primary school have carried out their own “Clean for the Queen” event.
Members of Spalding Primary School council and the Rights Respecting Schools’ Ambassadors cleared litter from the school grounds and the area around it.
The school is also collecting food for the Agape Food Bank, linked to the Lighthouse Church.
Teacher Peter Yarnell said: “In school, the children are taught about their responsibility to help protect and look after the environment, and this is just another way of the school helping the local community.
“We understand there are issues which affect our world and the local community and through education and actions, we can help to support people in need and protect the community.”
