The X Factor & I’m A Celebrity star Jake Quickenden will be kicking off Christmas at Springfields on Thursday (Oct 29) when he switches on the Christmas lights.
With only ten weeks to go until Christmas, the event compared by Heart DJs Kev & Ros, will see Jake flick the switch and be available for autographs accompanied on the night by live music from Radius 45.
It’s not just the lights that will signal the beginning of Christmas at Springfields, the Winter Wonderland walk will also open, free for people to enjoy.
The festivities continue next week with the annual and eagerly anticipated Springfields Fireworks Display on November 5. This year’s theme is movies and the display will be expertly choreographed to big movie soundtracks.
The gates open at 6pm with the fireworks beginning at 8pm.

Retail Director Simon Stone said: “Christmas is always a great time at Springfields and this year we wanted it to be really special.
“We are delighted to have Jake switch on the lights and we’re really going to put on a great show with the movie themed fireworks display.”
