Scottish band Big Country exploded on the scene in 1983, with Top Ten hit Fields Of Fire, and the million selling In a Big Country.

Their debut album The Crossing sold over two million copies (and went gold in the US), and their second album Steeltown was a UK number one. This was followed by the Top Ten album’s The Seer, Peace In Our Time and Through A Big Country.

The band went on to enjoy immense success with 17 hit singles, including Chance, Wonderland, King Of Emotion, and their biggest hit Look Away.

They’ve also racked up five gold and platinum albums, three Grammy nominations, and ten million record sales.

Big Country have built up a reputation as one of the most exciting live bands of their generation, and as well as headlining their own huge concerts and tours, have also supported The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Elton John, Robert Plant, and Queen.

In 2014 they completed a hugely successful Steeltown 30th Anniversary Tour, and in 2015 they embark on a massive Best Of tour.

The band are Bruce Watson (guitars/vocals), Mark Brzezicki (drums, vocals); Jamie Watson (guitars/vocals) and Simon Hough (lead vocals).
