LETTER: A law unto themselves

After reading your article “Network Rail not interested in talks with town forum” (September 17) it’s clear they are a law unto their own and the managers spin the same line.

I complained about noise in the middle of the night with goods trains and got a similar response.

It’s clear they have no thoughts for the public and I believe the government need an enquiry into the way Network Rail is run and why when there is a problem it takes at least five minutes to get to speak to someone.

Surely someone will die in Spalding due to Network Rail taking this stance on not meeting the public.
