Ramble reps help others to read

A group of pupils are encouraging others at their school to develop a love of books.
The Reading Ramble Representatives at Spalding Parish Church of England Day School read with different age groups and reward them with stickers and bookmarks.
One said: “We like reading with the younger ones because it helps them with their phonics but we do it in a fun and exciting way.
“We want to engage them to read – reading is magical in our school and we all love it.”
The Reading Ramble representatives also set challenges and listen to children in their own class as part of their “everybody reading in class” sessions.
