Wurie shows way for Tigers

Holbeach United cast the form book aside to romp into a three-goal lead at Thurlow Nunn League Division One North leaders Halesworth Town.
However, the Suffolk side showed their class by hitting back to snatch a point from a 3-3 draw.
A man-of-the-match performance from Alpha Wurie saw him score one goal, set up another and win a successful penalty.
A trip on Wurie led to Kelvin Ibeneme converting from the spot for the opener and just before half-time Wurie fired home the second from the edge of the box.
It was 3-0 to the visitors after 65 minutes when Pat Kacirek stabbed in after getting on the end of Wurie’s cross. Halesworth pulled one back two minutes later and it was 3-2 after 74, with the hosts levelling in stoppage time.
Four minutes later they were reduced to ten men when Shaun Whiteman was sent off for a challenge on goalkeeper Jack Sellars.
