Spalding Darts League’s singles finalists have been decided and there was some cracking darts throughout.
In Division 3 the final will be between Martin Weed (Tigers) and Jordan Philpott (Pinchbeck FC C).
Weed beat Simon Horton, Jason Chilvers and then Alan Leighton in the final on the night to reach the final and Philpott beat Rydan Dobney, Sean Trafford, Dan Gregory and finally Ash Brown in the final to qualify for finals night.
The Division 2 final will be between Josh Higgins (Riverside B) and Tom Elderkin (Pinchbeck FC A).
Elderkin started the night off beating Mick Atkin followed by Tom Burton and James Hodgett before beating teammate Connor Mackenzie to make finals night.
Higgins had a good night and beat some good players on the way starting with Chris O’Leary followed by Tom Burton, John Charlton and in the final of the night beat Dan Gent to secure his place in the final.
Division 1 was a very competitive night with Mick Holstead (Green Dragon A) and Steve Urch (Draymans Arms A) making their way to finals night.
On the night there were lots of maximums flying in and Logan Goddard had a fine 12-dart leg.
Holstead started his night beating Steve Emery followed by Jacob Herd, Connor Newton, Finn Clayton and finally Goddard to make the final.
Urch used his experience and scored heavily throughout firstly beating Tyger Atkin then Ian Lawson, Harry Faulkner and in the final beat Sam Roberts.
This was one of the biggest supported events the league has seen for many years so thanks to everyone who took part.
