Holbeach and District Sea Anglers fished their last match of the summer season in the Great Ouse estuary at King’s Lynn on Sunday.
Seven members enjoyed a good show of fish with Jeff Reddin taking the win with 11lb 6ozs with two fish including an unusual catch for the estuary of a 7lb 8oz smooth hound, and a bass.
Second was Colin Fines with 9lb 12oz, three fish including the two biggest bass caught at 4lb 11oz each and third was Campbell Burnett with a bag of nine smaller bass and flounders for 6lb 13ozs which was enough to secure the summer season shield and the points championship for Campbell.
