Rain delays Enterprise Way repair work, company says

Last week’s torrential rain has led to a delay on the planned repair of sewers that’s closed Enterprise Way, Anglian Water say.

The company was due to carry out repair work for the sinking Pinchbeck road that’s been closed since May.

But the company say the rain has meant it has not been able to carry them out.

An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “Following torrential rainfall last week, work to repair the affected section of sewer at Enterprise Way was delayed after the excavation became flooded.

“Since then, we have been closely monitoring the site and sewer network while conditions improved, and are now continuing with the agreed repair plan, with further work taking place over the coming days before final surveys and reinstatement are completed.

“We understand the disruption this has caused and thank residents, businesses and road users for their patience while this work is completed.”
