A Holbeach road is closed due to a collision in the early hours of this morning (Monday, August 31).
The incident occurred on Park Road at 5.13am this morning.
A statement released by Lincolnshire Police wrongly states it is Park Road in Spalding closed.
It continues: “Part of the road has been closed and is expected to be closed for some time while emergency services deal with this incident.
“Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes where feasible.”
As a result of the collision, Holbeach Parish Council have said it has had to close nearby gates to Carter’s Park.
A spokesman said: “The police have requested that we keep the gate by the toilets to Carter’s Park closed and the gate to Park Road cemetery closed. Both areas can still be accessed via other gates.”
