Appeal after hit and run injures motorcyclist outside Springfields

A motorcyclist was injured after a collision involving a a car driver who failed to stop.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone who might have information to come forward following the incident on the Holbeach Road roundabout outside Springfields in Spalding at 11am yesterday (Sunday, August 23).

A spokesman for the police said: “It involved a car – make, model and colour unknown at this stage – and a black MV Agusta Brutale motorbike.

“The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening nor life-altering.

“As part of our investigation we are now asking anyone who saw the collision, or who has dashcam footage, to contact us.”
