A low-scoring defeat at home to Grimsby Town sent Spalding back into the bottom two of the Lincs Premier League, Premier Division.
They looked to have done the hard work when Barnaby Dring (3-17) and Walter Kinlock (3-39) sent the visitors packing for just 133 inside 40 overs.
However, the hosts made a disastrous start to their innings, with four of their top six returning to the pavilion with ducks to their names as they slumped to 33/6.
Dring top-scored with 17 and a middle-order fightback from Mustafa Mughal (14) and Josh Lawrence (11) briefly raised hopes but after recovering to 69/7, Spalding added only 11 more runs as they were bowled out for 80.
Muhammad Ayub was their main tormentor, taking 6-26.
An unbroken fifth-wicket stand propelled Moulton Harrox to a six-wicket win at Ketton Sports in Championship South. The hosts were put into bat and looked to have made Moulton pay when their top three rattled off 159 runs. The visitors hit back well with Seth Adhikaramge (3-51), Travis Harrison (2-20) and Curtis Todd (2-41) bowling them out for 236.
Moulton lost three wickets cheaply in reply but opener Charlie Poulter stuck around to add 54 before Paul Edgeller (59no) and captain Matt Rose (41no) accelerated them to a winning 239/4 in the 43rd over.
Division One South leaders Long Sutton marched on with an eight-wicket success at Heckington. The home team won the toss and chose to bat but lasted less than 19 overs in scoring 45. Josh Baker led the Sutton charge with 6-17 from his nine overs.
Openers Calvin Bird (14) and Rajan Singh (14no) did most of the work in the swift reply, assisted by 12 extras, with Aron John (8no) seeing them over the line in 35 balls.
It was a similar result at Moulton Harrox Seconds where the hosts were bowled out cheaply. Zak Maddison top-scored with seven as Market Deeping Seconds’ Aqeel Khan (7-22) created havoc in their 57 all-out total.
Deeping knocked off the required runs without loss.
Spalding Seconds were five-wicket victors at Newborough Seconds after George Morris (3-12) and Richard Riley (3-22) helped reduce them to 117 all out.
Andrew Sorrell (31) laid the foundations for a winning reply, although it needed an unbeaten sixth-wicket stand of 42 between captain Dan Mulley (12no) and Morris (27no) after they had slipped to 78/5.
Long Sutton Seconds let Freiston, Leake & Leverton Seconds off the hook in their 18-run defeat. Things looked good for the hosts when they reduced the Boston team to 82/8 but the last two wickets put on an extra 44 runs.
Joe Whitaker (4-18) and Callum John (3-31) impressed for Sutton as the hosts were bowled out for a catchable 126.
However, after progressing to 82/3, they lost their way and were out for 108, with opener Jack Baker (40) top-scoring.
