Consistent Consti stay unbeaten

Consti A maintained their 100 per cent record in the Spalding League by beating Rose and Crown C 7-2.

Consti romped into a 7-0 lead but lost the last two games. Sam Roberts had a 17-dart leg in his win over Kev Aldhouse.

Rose and Crown A moved into second place thanks to a 6-3 win against Royal Mail Cart. It was a night of 180s with Tyler Atkin hitting two and Paul Faulkner and Finn Clayton both hitting one.

Finn hit his max in a 14-dart leg and Josh Faulkner hit a 121 checkout in his victory.

Lincoln Arms A had an 8-1 win over Consti D. Harry Walsh had a 102 checkout in his win against Steve Emery and Colin Beckett was the sole winner for the Consti.

Drayman’s A team won 6-3 in their derby game with their B team. The A team started the night well and Phil Newton and Richard Cooper hit a 16-dart leg in their doubles win. Cooper followed that fine form up with a 105 checkout in his win over Matt Broderick.

Josh Grainger and Chris Howling both hit maximums in their wins.
Green Dragon A beat Ye Olde Abbey 6-3 with the highlight being a snappy 14-dart leg for Callum Templeman.

In Division Two, Consti E stopped Pinchbeck FC A team’s unbeaten run.

Tom Elderkin had a 17-dart leg in his game to make it 3-3 but Mick Atkin, Dan Gent and Mark Dixon all won to make it a 6-3 victory.

Pinchbeck FC B team had a 7-2 win. Star of the night was Jake Hinta Penta, who hit a maximum 180 and a 102 checkout.

Riverside B kept up their good run by beating Mulberry’s 6-3.

In an upset, Holbeach Services B beat their A team 5-4. Chris O’Leary had a 114 checkout and Danny Goddard had a 111.

Captain Jamie McHugh went on last for the B team and won 2-1 against Stu Stephens to take the points for his team.

Elsewhere, Lincoln B won 5-4 against Riverside A, thanks to a last game win for John Charlton, who had a
17-dart leg.
