The team behind the Spalding Flower Festival is putting on a new music event to raise funds.
Voltage 26 is taking place at Spalding Rugby Club, off the A16 near Applegreen, on Saturday, August 15.
From 11am to 11pm there will be a host of musical acts to suit all tastes over two stages.
First to be announced are:
- The Legacy of Victor Norman – A talented five-piece local band performing classic rock favourites with a distinctive folk-inspired sound.
- Harry Stylish – Bringing the music of one of the world’s biggest-selling artists in a high-energy stadium-style tribute performance.
- K Popz – An exciting, feel-good show inspired by the global explosion of K-Pop culture and performance.
- Soultown – A celebration of Motown classics and iconic hits from the golden age of 70s soul and pop.
- The Complete Blues Brothers – The suits, the moves and the unforgettable soundtrack – a tribute to the legendary cult film and its timeless music.
- Rihanna Reloaded – A stunning production featuring chart-topping hits, powerhouse vocals and spectacular choreography.
- Mercury – Widely regarded as one of the world’s premier Queen tribute acts, Mercury will close the show with a truly unforgettable finale.
A spokesman for the festival, said: “It will be a spectacular all-day live music event set to bring outstanding entertainment, energy and atmosphere to the town. Featuring an exceptional line-up across two stages, Voltage 26 promises a full day of unforgettable performances, celebrating everything from classic rock and Motown to pop anthems.
“Alongside the music, visitors can also enjoy a bar, range of food vendors and family-friendly entertainment including a face painter, helping create a fantastic festival atmosphere for all ages.
“Organisers have spent many months carefully curating the event to deliver one of the biggest and most exciting entertainment days Spalding has seen in recent years.
