Lincoln A beat high flying Rose and Crown C 5-4 in the Spalding and District Darts League this week.
Lincoln A have a strong team, but the Rose and Crown have been cruising this season so far.
Rose and Crown started off the better and went 2-1 up after pairs and Colin Hatter won the first singles game to make it 3-1.
But Luke Rhodes with a 17-dart leg beat Logan Goddard to make it 3-2.
The veteran Karl Rolfe then beat county A player Ant Richardson 2-1 with Richardson hitting a 180 in his game.
Steve Stancer then swung the tie and made it 4-3 to the Lincoln beating Monty Bunn and having a 118 check out and an 18-dart leg in his victory. Duncan Hunt levelled the score by beating Simon Hill. Dave Bourne held his nerve and beat Kev Aldhouse 2-0 to take the win and the points for the Lincoln.
Earlier in the night Rhodes and Harry Walsh had an 18-dart leg in the pairs but lost out to Richardson and Goddard.
Consti A now go top and remain unbeaten after a good 7-2 win against Drayman’s Arms B.
Andy Bingham hit a maximum 180 and an 18-dart leg in his win against Matt Broderick. Sam Roberts hit a 16-dart leg in his game but lost out to Chris Howling.
The other winner for the Drayman’s was Conor Hughes who beat Nick Moyses.
Consti D won a tight game against Royal Mail Cart at 4-4. Captain Ady Smith went on last and won 2-0 against Jacob Herd to take the win.
In another tight game Drayman’s Arms A beat Ye Olde Abbey 5-4 with Richard Cooper going on last and beating Stan Browning to take the points.
On the night Scott Lawrence and Steve Urch both hit 180s, Kev Newton had a 110 checkout in his win over JJ Bird and Dave Norbury was in fine form and had two 18-dart legs in his win over Josh Grainger.
In another tight game Green Dragon A came out on top and had a 5-4 win against Rose and Crown A.
Adam Rear held his nerve and beat Simon Waterfall 2-1 to get the victory. Chris Wing and Callum Templeman had 180s and Callum had 120 check out on the night too.
Mick Holstead had a snappy 16-dart leg and last season’s single’s champion Ian Lawson teamed up with Hank Watson and had a 18-dart leg. He also had a fine 128 checkout on the night.
In Division Two Pinchbeck FC A and Holbeach Services A both remain unbeaten.
Holbeach Services beat Five Bells 6-3 in a game which produced five maximum 180s.
Tom Semper hit two of these and Stu Stephens, Chris Chamberlain and Mike Ocock all hit maximums on the night.
Pinchbeck beat Riverside B 6-3 with Harvey Elderkin having a 101 checkout and Darren Norton a 110 check out in his victory.
Consti E had a nice 7-2 win against Holbeach Services B. Holbeach won the first two games but then lost seven in a row.
Pinchbeck FC B team had a 6-3 win over Lincoln Arms B.
Pinchbeck went 4-0 up but Lincoln fought back with three wins in a row, but Jordan Philpott and Josh Burton won their games to settle the tie.
John Charlton had a 128 checkout in his game and Ant Norman and Josh Burton had an 18-dart leg in their pairs victory over Duane Harrison and Andy Palmer.
Mulberrys are enjoying life in Division Two and have now had three wins on the bounce thanks to a 6-3 win over Riverside A.
Riverside started the better and found themselves 3-1 up but wins for Mark Thompson, Wigs Harrison, Chris Page, Nathan Sage and Tony Thorpe took the points for Mulberrys.
In Division Three, Green Dragon B and Moulton Harrox remain unbeaten.
Harrox beat Tigers B 6-3 and George Phillips had a 100 checkout in his win over Lee Clayton.
Nick Quantrill had a great night with a 180 and a 14-dart leg in his win.
Green Dragon beat Punchbowl 6-3.
The two singles winners for the Punchbowl were Nicky Haw and Cole Elrick.
Pinchbeck FC C won 5-4 with Ryan Dobney getting the vital win against Josh Stretton.
Tigers A beat Pied Calf B 6-3.
After winning the three pairs games, singles wins for Martin Weed, Dylan Ahern and Brad Power lead to the victory.
Power had a 180 in his win over Russel Kirk, while Aaron Barns had a 108 checkout in his win over Harry Turner.
Pied Calf A got their first win of the season with a 5-4 win over Riverside C.
Dean Massam won his game 2-1 against Jordan Smith to take the points.
