The second week of the Billiards Shield mini league format had one fixture played a day late, Pyramid B hosted Gosberton, and it was a great night for Pyramid as they won 3-0.
Maurice Phillipson (r80) defeated Marcus Pell (o55) by just six points, Pell making breaks of 26 and 21.
Phil Cooke (r105) made it two up for Pyramid as he won 200-190 against Des Forbes (r60).
Completing the whitewash was Darrell Read (r30) winning 200-117 against Shane White (o40).
Week three saw Donington B regain their position at the top of Division A after a 3-0 win against Holbeach A.
A very tight affair saw Neil Reynolds (o50) hold off Jason Rose (o05) by three points 200-197. Reynolds making 25, 21 and 21 breaks and Rose 33, 23 and 22.
Neil Burton (r65) put them two up with a 200-143 win against Mick Cooper (o205).
Jason Bloomfield (r65) made a winning debut for Donington, including a 25 break, as he beat Ben Harding (o05) 200-125.
Holbeach B move in to second place after a 2-1 win against Gosberton.
Andy Spearman (r80) took the first frame against Des Forbes (r60) 200-154.
Shane White (o40) levelled the match up by defeating Denis Hix (r70) 200-168, White making breaks of 39 and 21.
It was left to Neil Harvey (r30) to close out the win against Marcus Pell (o55), Neil claiming a 200-157 victory.
Broadway top Division B still despite a 2-1 loss away at Consti.
Star of the week was Steve Singh (o50) who had seven good breaks totalling 194, the best being a 46 and 33. He won 200-0 against Mick Johnson (o55).
John Bellerby (r110) pulled one back for Consti as he defeated Andy Wheatley (o05) 200-105.
Stewart Davies (r45) gave Consti the win with a 200-128 victory against Wole Akintola (r25), Davies making breaks of 20, 21, 23 and an unfinished 26.
Playing their first ever game in the Shield competition was Services and a good night was had by them as they hosted Pyramid A and won 3-0.
Nigel Cherry (r75) played John Clapton (r115) and won 200-146.
The second frame saw Phil Spencer (r80) hold on by just seven points to defeat Oli Player (r30) 200-193.
There was an even closer finish in the final frame as just three points separated Chris Dunmore (o05) for Services and Neil McLean (r95), but it went the way of Dunmore, the victory putting Services in second position after only one game.
