This week’s Spalding and District Billiards fixtures saw maximum wins in all but one fixture.
Leaders Donington B extended their position at the top by another two points.
It was a local derby as the A team hosted, but the B team won 7-0, Mick Pearl (r60), Neil Reynolds (o35) and Neil Burton (r65) picked up wins against Nigel Brasier (r55), Ben Wrigglesworth (scr) and Tony Scully (r30) respectively.
Reynolds compiled breaks of 37, 20, 20 and 24 unfinished along the way.
Holbeach B moved up in to second place with a 7-0 win at home to Consti, Denis Hix (r65) winning by 102 points against Mick Johnson (o95), Andy Spearman (r75) beating Alan Hansard (r70), 200-144.
Finishing off a great evening for Holbeach, saw an in form Neil Harvey (r25) win 200-188 against Stewart Davies (r40).
Swapping positions with Holbeach B is Broadway who lost away to Holbeach A 5-2.
Jason Rose (r15) had a big win of 200-36 against Gary Norman (o260) to set Holbeach on the right foot.
Ben Harding (o10) made it two up for them with a 200-138 win against Andy Wheatley (scr).
Steve Singh (o40) rescued two points for Broadway with a 17 points win against John Dawson (r55), Singh getting the highest break of the week with a 45.
A couple of close games could have seen a different result between Gosberton and Pyramid B, but Pyramid came away with a 7-0 win, Maurice Phillipson (r85) for Pyramid had a consistent steady game against Des Forbes (r60) with a 200-132 win.
Phil Cooke (r95) edged home by two points, beating Marcus Pell (o45), despite a 34 break from Pell.
Darrell Read (r35) finished off a good night for them with a nine point win against Shane White (o30)
It was a fine week for the Bourne Pyramid teams with the A team whitewashing bottom placed Services 7-0.
John Clapton (r110), Reegan Cooke-Holmes (r50) and John Twell (r60) all winning against Vince Fitter (r60), Chris Dunmore (o5) and Nigel Cherry (r85).
In his first game of the season Cooke-Holmes knocked in a nice 37 break.
