Minor injuries in collision that closed A16

There were minor injuries after a collision which closed the A16 in both directions on Thursday afternoon (August 28).

The incident occurred around 3pm just outside Spalding Golf Club and involved a black Porsche and and a blue Volkswagen.

The road was closed until 5.30pm.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “The driver and passenger of the Volkswagen sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Porsche was uninjured.”
