Both clubs have been placed in Division One North of the Thurlow Nunn League in the Football Association’s initial draft of league membership for the 2025/26 season. The allocations are subject to appeals and any amendments will be confirmed in due course.
There had been a possibility of the pair being moved back into the United Counties League but they will remain in the East Anglian-based competition.
New opponents for the two Lincolnshire sides will be FC Clacton, Halesworth Town, Kings Park Rangers (Cornard), Long Melford and Wroxham Reserves, while Haverhill Borough and Needham Market Reserves have been given reprieves.
Haverhill Rovers and Stanway Pegasus have been promoted, Swaffham Town relegated and Whitton United dropped out, with Harwich & Parkeston moved to the Essex Senior League.
