South Lincs swimmers on fine form at ASA meet

South Lincs Competitive Swimming Club enjoyed great success at the ASA Age Group County Championships.

Junior boys William Swain (14) and Ryan Horrocks (14) and junior girls Serena Leadbeater (14) and Emily McCann (13) all secured their places in the exciting junior SKINS finals, with Swain achieving first place to claim the junior champion title.

Some 41 swimmers qualified for this year’s championships, with 181 personal best times (PBs), 25 gold medals, 27 silvers, 19 bronzes and two county records achieved by the Spalding club.

Horrocks, Swain, Alice Gowing (15), Luke Elliott (15) and Tom Mitchell (17) all claimed the title of age group winners.

Amazingly, 42 Midland Qualifying Times were also achieved by Gowing, Horrocks, Swain, Elliott, Calvin Wilson and Mitchell.
