Hat-trick hero Wright on it

Holbeach United enjoyed their biggest win in a number of years which included what is thought to be their youngest ever hat-trick for the first team.

The Tigers thrashed the Thurlow Nunn First Division North’s bottom side Swaffham Town 8-0 in a fine display.
It included three goals from 17-year-old Callum Wright who opened the scoring after 12 minutes.
Holbeach dominated throughout and may have been frustrated to only be 2-0 up at the break after Pat Kacirek half volleyed the second home from close range on 23 minutes.
But they made their chances tell in the second period with six further goals in the space of 21 minutes.
A Kyle Compton corner was turned into his own net by a Swaffham defender shortly after the break before Ben Greenacre made it 4-0 moments later.
By the hour mark it was 6-0, Harvey Thorne scoring from just outside the box for the fifth before Wright headed home a cross from the right.
Wright completed his hat-trick in the 67th minute with Greenacre netting his second two minutes later to complete the rout.
Holbeach are sixth, two points off Diss in fifth and the last play-off.
They face a tough challenge this Saturday in the league when they visit second placed Stanway Pegasus.
Tigers: Simpson, Greenacre, Oldham, Roberts, Ling, Kacirek, Compton, Thorne, Wright, Carter, Cook. Subs: Keeble, Lee, Ibeneme, Williams.
Attendance: 92.
