Plenty of noodling by pupils

Pupils at a Holbeach primary school have been cooking up ideas thanks to an expert.

Year Five and Six pupils at William Stukeley Primary School enjoyed a day of culinary creation, via food workshops, led by Darren Tinkler from ‘Roots to Food’.
A spokesman for the school said the workshop was ‘informative and inspiring’.
“The children worked cooperatively, in teams, to prepare, cook and taste a delicious dish of Singapore noodles,” they said. “They learnt about food origins, food hygiene and the nutritional value of each ingredient; a truly cross-curricular workshop, covering elements of maths, science, design and technology and PSHE.
“Darren’s engaging and inspirational delivery ensured that the workshops were loved by all – staff included!”
