Man in custody after woman believed to have been stabbed in Spalding

A man has been remanded in custody after injuring a woman police believe was stabbed.

Lincolnshire Police say they’re investigating a report of grievous bodily harm following the incident in Little London, Spalding on Tuesday March 19.

Richard Admans, 59, of Marsh Road, Spalding was arrested and charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife or sharp pointed article in a public place. He has been remanded to custody until his next court appearance.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “The victim sustained injuries believed to have been caused by a knife. Thankfully her injuries are not life-threatening.”
