The Rotary’s Stephen Colby said the branch had helped raise £250,000 through helping Santa in Decembers since 1986.
“It was interesting to hear from each group and how they would spend their money to benefit their organisation,” he said. “The club is very grateful for the help we receive from other groups, and we’re pleased to help them continue their work in the community.
” Also on the night we were delighted to welcome Santa, our drivers and navigators, Jason and Nikki Martin from J and M Autos and Richard and Stephanie Priestley from Bridge Farm Group Nursery, all of whom had helped us with last year’s sleigh campaign. Thank you all.”
