Moulton Harrox close gap

Moulton Harrox are one point behind Peterborough and District Football League Premier Division Leaders Uppingham Town after beating the weather and Oundle Town on Saturday.

Water-logged pitches were the order of the day in most of the league, but the Harrox Playing Field was in a fit enough state to play.
The club was glad to have got the game on when a Nathan Smith goal proved enough to give Moulton a 1-0 win.
Harrox are now second and hot on the heels of Uppingham with two games in hand on the leaders.
The only other game that went ahead involving a South Holland side saw Sutton Bridge United beaten 7-4 in a Division Two goalfest.
Alex Clements Limb, Jordan Collison, Matt Eaton and Mark Garner were on target for Sutton.
