Earth’s triple strike keeps Harrox on leaders’ tail

Moulton Harrox closed the gap on leaders Uppingham Town in the Premier Division of the GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough League with a 4-1 at Oakham United.

A hat-trick from Declan Earth and a goal from Marcus Parry leaves them seven points off top spot but with five games in hand.
Crowland Town are still in the title shake-up after a 3-2 win against Ramsey Town kept them within four points of Moulton, with a game in hand on the two teams between them. Corban Oldham struck twice with substitute Jordan Kirchin’s strike proving decisive.
Kieron McConnell netted twice and Jordan Keeble once as Holbeach United Reserves moved clear of the bottom two thanks to a 3-1 win against Wittering Premiair.
Tydd missed the chance to put some clear water between themselves and the drop zone after losing by a single goal at home to Stamford Belvedere.
In Division One, Holbeach United Sports beat Farcet United 3-0 but Long Sutton Athletic went down 4-1 at Netherton United Reserves, with Calvin Bird getting their goal.
