LETTER: New venue for coffee morning

Our gentleman’s coffee morning group in Crowland has been together for just over a year now.
To celebrate, we all went out for a meal at our local Italian restraurant, Giulianos in Crowland.
We started meeting in the Old Copper Kettle in North Street, where the idea was born last year, but because of a new business venture by Graham and Tracy Cleaver we had to look for a new meeting place, although Graham is still very much a part of Crowland and the group.
Thanks to the people who look after Crowland Abbey we have been using a room and kitchen within the Abbey.
The group has been so successful in attracting new members recently we are now on the move again as we continue to increase in membership.
Our new meeting place, starting this Friday, will be at the Crowland Hub – Library in Hall Street, Fridays at 10.30am until 12.20pm.
We hope to have a few guest speakers to join us in the near future, who can give the group an interesting talk on various topics. So if you live in Crowland or within the surrounding area, please come along and meet the group. You will be made most welcome.
