Swing your heart out

The Swinging Blue Jeans and a local Spalding band will be bringing the 60s back to Spalding on Friday (September 15).

The band known for hits like Hippy Hippy Shake, Good Golly Miss Molly and Don’t Make Me Over are at the South Holland Centre from 7pm.
They’re still fronted by long time member Alan Lovell who has recorded with artists such as Marty Wilde, PJ Proby and Denny Lane.
Joining the Swinging Blue Jeans is Edison Lighthouse who enjoyed a worldwide hit with their single ‘Love Grows where my Rosemary Goes’ which has four billion views on TikTok!
Also appearing will be Spalding’s very own Sounds Force 5, who shot to fame when they appeared at BBQ 67 right here in Spalding, featuring Cream, Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix.
A spokesman for the South Holland Centre said: “If you like the 60s you will “love” this concert”
