Go where the flowers take you on festival trail

VNG250414-19Spalding’s iconic flower parade may well be a thing of the past – for now at least – but you can still count on South Holland’s churches to make the district bloom at this time of year.

As always scores of volunteers from Spalding to Sutton Bridge and Whaplode to Weston Hills will be decking their churches out in a rainbow of glorious colours for the traditional flower festivals.

And with more than 30 taking part, there is sure to be a church near you that is worth a visit.

Many of them started last weekend and will continue for a few days at least so you are bound to be able to find a spare hour or so to enjoy the beautiful spring displays.
