Wardentree Lane to be open ‘late evening’ today, Anglian Water say

Anglian Water say Wardentree Lane will be open in time for tomorrow’s (Saturday) Spalding Flower Parade.

The route, close to one of the two park and ride schemes for the event, has been closed since Tuesday.

A spokesman for Anglian Water told The Voice a team would be on site later today to finish the work, but the road will need to stay closed until the ‘late evening’ to allow the new surface to cool.

“Everyone is working towards all being good for tomorrow and will work as late as required tonight to make this happen,” the spokesman continued.
