Wrights Properties to support junior players

Long Sutton Hockey Club’s junior section will, once again, be sponsored by Wrights Properties, in what is the club’s Centenary Year.
Stewart Wright, of Wrights Properties, said: “We would like to thank Josh Baker and all the amazing coaching team for all the time and hard work they put in to making this section of the club such a success.
“Not only do they work tirelessly in teaching the rules and the skills of hockey but make it a welcoming, friendly, happy fun-filled environment for the youngsters to enjoy.
“Thanks must go to all the parents/carers, families and friends who support this section in many ways including as a taxi service in not only ferrying the children to and from coaching, but also matches and tournaments.
“This co-operation has contributed greatly to the progress made in coaching sessions to successes in matches and tournaments.”

Junior coaching sessions take place on the club’s astro at the Peele Leisure Centre, Long Sutton, on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10.30am.
They cater for boys and girls aged five to 13 years old and the season will continue until the end of May.
