LETTERS – Anti-pee paint might be answer

With the Abbey Passage situation now involving action, the benefits of anti-pee paint could certainly bring control to the area.

Versatility of the coating would enhance artwork and control the peeing problem over larger areas.
If artwork was on the skyline the people would need to be a long shot to reach it. In any case the wonder of anti-urine paint is that it sends the pee back onto the person.
Hull City Council use it and others also use anti-climb paint. A night spot in London’s West End is set to be coated in anti-pee paint to stop revellers using areas as a public toilet.
All round perhaps a better solution to solving a real problem.
