Serious collision involving lorry and pedestrian closes road

A road between Hop Pole and Deeping St Nicholas is closed today (Saturday, December 24) after what police called a serious collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian.

The public are being asked to avoid the A1175 following the incident reported at 11.15am.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: ”We are on scene at a serious collision between a lorry and a pedestrian between Hop Pole and Deeping St Nicholas on the A1175.

“The road is expected to remain closed until at least early evening, please avoid the area. We were called at 11.17am. Incident 154.”
