LETTERS – How can prices go up so much?

Can anyone please explain how the Morrisons petrol station can raise their petrol prices a penny every day in one week?

They are currently running an advert which says if you spend £40 on groceries you can save 5p on a litre of fuel.

Considering it was priced at £1.65.9 per litre and it is now £1.72.9, how on earth are we supposed to save?

Yet another business that thinks its customers are stupid, as the supermarket is still making a very large profit on fuel as well as you, the customer, spending more on shopping in this very expensive time.

It was shown on the news that petrol companies are making £7 billion profit in three months – surely they should pass this on at the pumps?
