Two Spalding schools have received a boost for their breakfast clubs.
The Tulip Academy’s Springview Campus and St Paul’s Primary School have both received £1,000 from Kellogg’s as part of the scheme.
Breakfast clubs help with everything from attendance and attainment to alleviating hunger and providing pre-school care.
Claire Moore, Senior deputy headteacher at the Tulip Academy said: “We are so grateful to receive this generous donation.
“The current club food is quite basic and with this funding we will be able to expand the food choices available and continue to provide our breakfast club services for our children and their families.”
Selina Ratchford, headteacher at St Paul’s Primary School, said: “We would like to thank Kellogg’s for this donation.
“The extra funding will enable us to provide more breakfasts to more pupils.
“The breakfast club is an essential facility for children to have something to eat, socialise with their peers in a safe environment, and get themselves ready for the school day ahead.”
