All over the country, people are baking cakes, shaving heads, parachuting, trekking, cycling, running and much, much more to raise money for our wounded.
Help for Heroes relies on its team of fantastic volunteers to support the hundreds and thousands of people who are doing their bit for our wounded heroes.
Here’s where you come in – the charity is looking for someone to step up and become a volunteer co-ordinator for the Spalding area.
The charity’s volunteer coordinators can be seen at the finish lines, the cheque presentations and the local talks, giving thanks and spreading the word on the help that is still so vitally needed for our heroes.
Volunteering with H4H is a hugely enjoyable and rewarding experience and by doing your bit you really can make a difference.
The charity’s volunteers are very important – providing that personal link and support to the public in their fundraising efforts.
Help for Heroes relies on local volunteers to reach all our current and potential supporters who are organising their own fundraising events for H4H; this could be anything from a cake sale to a day at the races or a pub quiz in support of us.
Local volunteering opportunities can be either on an ad hoc or a more regular basis depending on the time you can give.
If you would like to find out more about taking up the role the Lincolnshire co-ordinator team will be at Springfields Shopping Outlet on Saturday from 10am.
Call by and say hello, look at the latest Help for Heroes merchandise available and have a chat to one of the team if you feel you’d like to get involved.
If you can’t make it on Saturday but would like to find out more about how you can help contact Katie Hinde, Eastern regional co-ordinator, on 07714 397509 or email [email protected].
