PDFL round-up: Ford and Leggatt both bag doubles as Crowland and Moulton draw thriller

South Holland rivals Crowland Town and Moulton Harrox battled out a six-goal ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division thriller on Saturday.

The duo drew 3-3 at Crowland’s Snowden Field home, with Sam Leggatt and Josh Ford netting twice.

Joe Cole and Joe Townsend also got in on the act to ensuring that the spoils were shared.

Harrox stay fourth and Crowland are eighth after the cracker.

In Division One, Pinchbeck United Reserves enjoyed a 5-1 home success over Eunice Huntingdon.

Joe Cottingham, Warren Hebblethwaite, Leandro Manuel Silva Borges, James Waldron and Reece Precious netted for the Knights in a welcome win.

Also on winning form were Tydd, who picked up a 1-0 victory at Cardea.

Kyle Davis grabbed the only goal on eight minutes to settle the battle.

However, Moulton Harrox Reserves suffered a 5-1 reverse against leaders Warboys Town at Broad Lane.

First team regular Declan Earth netted for Harrox as they reached half-time at 1-1, but the visitors grabbed four unanswered goals after the break.

In Division Two, Long Sutton Athletic Reserves suffered a 1-0 home defeat against FC Hampton to stay just outside of the bottom two.

Elsewhere, there was a difficult day for Sutton Bridge United in Division Four.

They were handed a 7-0 thrashing at Rippingale & Folkingham, with both Michael Goodyear and Joe Wilkinson scoring twice.

There was better fortune for Holbeach Bank down in Division Five B, as they picked up a 3-2 victory at FC Hampton A.

In what proved to be a bit of a goal-fest, Daniel Leach starred for Bank with a double.

Aiden Doherty was the other scorer as Bank moved up to third place in the table.
