There will be a chance to relive a bit of Holbeach history at a special event taking place in the town on Saturday.
The Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society (LVVS) is holding the event at the former Chandlers site in Boston Road where there will be at least four vintage buses on display.
At 11am, 12pm and 1pm, there will be chances to ride on the buses and sample what it was like to travel by bus back in the 1960s.
The LVVS is hoping to attract people who have a connection to the buses or have memories of riding them.
The LVVS is based at the Lincolnshire Road Transport Museum, Whisby Road, North Hykeham, Lincoln which houses over 65 vintage cars, buses and commercial vehicles spanning over 80 years of road transport history. There are also many interesting displays of transport history including a traditional workshop.
The LVVS would like to thank Chandlers for the use of its site.
