Davy hits treble for Sutton A

A hat-trick from Davy Shepherd steered Long Sutton A to a 6-1 win over Dreams Reserves on Saturday.

Kye Bunce (2) and Will Kirkham also netted in the ChromaSport PDFL’s supplementary Minor Cup competition.

Fellow South Holland side Holbeach Bank lost 4-0 at Langtoft United in the same competition.

In the Peterborough Senior Cup, Crowland Town suffered their first loss of the campaign as Peterborough North End Sports handed them a 5-1 home reverse.

Harry Grigas got their consolation goal.

Also beaten were Pinchbeck United Reserves, who went down 4-2 at home against Rippingale and Folkingham despite a Sam Orrell double.

Crowland Reserves were thumped 7-2 at Thorpe Wood Rangers, too.
In the Peterborough Junior Cup, Long Sutton Reserves enjoyed a 4-2 win over Dreams as Matt Cawthorn, Jack Greenacre and Jack Semmence (plus an own goal) secured the points.

Tydd Reserves, meanwhile, were crushed 8-2 at home by Wittering Premiair A.
