Whilst walking my dog along Vernatts Drain I found a pair of tortoiseshell framed glasses. They were folded flat and I think they may have fallen out of a pocket or bag.

Whilst we are on the subject of Vernatts Drain I would like to I would like to give a huge round of thanks to The Wombles – when the riverside was in the tender care of our esteemed portfolio holders it was an absolute eyesore and disgrace.
Now thanks to these amazing people (the Wombles ) with their plastic bags and picking sticks, it’s a pleasure to behold.
Another round of thanks to the two sponsors of the new rubbish bin that has been placed on the river bank, it’s exactly where dog walkers needed one.
