LETTERS – M&S closure is a bitter blow

Re the letter in The Voice March 18, regarding the closure of Marks and Spencers food business from Rebecca Clark – she has my support too.
Spalding is falling apart!

This latest closure of M&S is a bitter blow to the town and I, along with many other people, would like to know why.

This store is always busy and the food is superb, good value, nicely presented and above all, delicious. Plus the staff are very helpful, friendly and professional, and do not deserve to lose their jobs.

I know many people support the internet but let’s not forget the High Street too, and the personal service which the internet does not provide.

Let us all make an effort to support Marks and Spencers Food and for the powers that be to reconsider and to keep this store open.
