LETTERS – No street lights make it party spot

Last evening/night, I heard music and singing outside my property which was still ongoing at around 10.30pm when I went outside with my dog before bedtime.

This morning I have seen and photographed the bottles and rubbish that they kindly left after their ‘party’, and I will now pick up and make the area tidy again.

This area has been surveyed previously by the police driving down in the early evenings, as it has been used for alcohol and drug taking.

Last week a syringe was found, but unfortunately my husband didn’t take a photo, he placed it inside a bottle for safety and disposing off.

With no street lights in the area and with the lights on the main road not working as well, this has become an ideal area again for meeting up and unacceptable behaviour that I can no longer tolerate.

It disturbs the dogs at my neighbour’s property with constant howling and barking which is stressful for them too.
