Female staff at Bakkavor Pizza and Holbeach Hospital patients were given a blooming marvellous gesture on International Women’s Day last week.
Staff at the Bakkavor’s branch in Holbeach St Marks were given flowers with a label thanking them and quoting Michelle Obama.
It said: “There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.”
Those flowers left over were then donated to patients and staff at the community-run Holbeach Hospital.
A Bakkavor spokesman said: “A round of applause for the Bakkavor Pizza Holbeach Site Employee Forum (SEF), who celebrated International Women’s Day by giving female colleagues a bunch of flowers with an empowering message attached and then took some time today to deliver daffodils to Holbeach Hospital.”
