Date for Holbeach ball

Holbeach’s Community Ball is hoping to return later this year to raise funds for the town’s hospital.

The popular event was last held in March 2020.

That’s obviously not possible this year, but instead the event is hoped to go ahead on October 2.

Tickets are already proving popular with only six tables remaining.

This year’s theme will be ‘Fire and Ice’ and is set to include live music from Crazy Ape.

Tickets include a welcome drink on arrival, a three-course meal with wine on the table and a gift for all guests.

Organiser Sophie Hutchinson said: “We have decided to go ahead of our intended date of October 2, 2021. All money raised will go to Holbeach Hospital.

“You can reserve a table for only £50 and if you pay in full by June 30 you will receive a ten per cent discount on the ticket price. If we can’t go ahead due to COVID-19 we will postpone the event until March 2022 and all tickets will be transferable.”
