Help shape health care

South Holland residents are being encouraged to get involved with a new panel being set up to help provide a voice for the public on healthcare in the county.

The NHS has launched Lincolnshire’s first ever Citizens’ Panel to ensure the county’s residents are heard during upcoming crucial healthcare planning.
And there’s a chance those who get involved could be £250 better off.
Adults of all ages and from all walks of life are encouraged to join to make sure the group is truly representative.
Three £250 prize draws will take place during the first year as a ‘thank you’ to members who engage with the surveys.
Charity HWLincs has been selected by the NHS in Lincolnshire to recruit panel members.
Tom Cassidy, from HWLincs, said: “This is a vital opportunity to make a real difference to the future of healthcare services in the county.
“As we move through the COVID-19 pandemic, there is an intense focus on health and healthcare provision. The panel will give us all the opportunity to help shape healthcare services in Lincolnshire.
“Whether you have specific needs that must be recognised and considered, or you don’t have any health issues right now but live in the Lincolnshire, engaging today to shape the future is vital.”
