Store bags help for community

Staff from Morrisons’ store in Pinchbeck have been praised for their work in the community.

The store’s Community Champion, Gail Ridley, has been joined in the community work the store does by Sam Bailey who previously worked in the currently closed restaurant.

The pair have been helping numerous groups with donations, including some by Tulips Events organiser Jan Whitbourn.

She said: “Gail and Sam have been donating lots of bags to me for the veterans to receive their vegetables and fruit in.

“They have had to alter all their work and do a completely new job due to the virus.

“They now work full time delivering packages to the vulnerable, homes, fire service and others who call in for some help with provisions to keep them going.

“They also go out of their way to help many other organisations and offered the bags to help me deliver produce to the vulnerable and veterans.”
